It's with a little tear in my eye. The ABC Family show has become more than just a guilty pleasure over the past few years, but luckily there are a few other shows out there that can give me a fix of the college hijinks and drama. If you're in the same boat as me, here are five other series that just may strike your fancy if you're a fan of Greek.
1.Community
OK, so the cast of NBC's comedy aren't all typical college age, but Community will give you another type of undergrad experience. It's got more misfits than popular girls and guys (think Rusty and Dale), but just as many timely pop culture references as Greek used on a regular basis.
2. Felicity
If spending the last few years watching Casey waffle between Evan and Cappie was the reason you were glued to Greek, then you'll be equally hooked on the DVDs of Felicity. Sure, it's a little dated at this point, but the iconic show offers up the same themes (and an equally hot love triangle at its epicenter).
3. Hellcats
If you can't have Zeta Beta Zeta, there's always Cheer town. Hellcats offers a clique that's just as melodramatic and soapy as the Cyprus Rhodes kids — but with dancing.
4. Pretty Little Liars
The PYTs of Pretty Little Liars are more or less sorority girls in training. The show is definitely darker than Greek, but it has the same addictive story lines.
5. Undeclared
Judd Apatow's short-lived series Undeclared features plenty of stars before they were stars (Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Jason Segel) exploring college life. Like Greek, it captures the college basics: partying, hooking up, and trying to prepare yourself for the big bad world.
